2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Check those brake lines !

If you're driving around in an older Ram, check out your brake lines. I lost my brakes for the second time today. This time the 3/16th metal line to the DS Front brake hose blew. There is heavy rust on all my connections, could be because I'm in the Northeast and have snow/salt conditions. I'm in the process of replacing all hoses and lines now throughout the truck. It's a real PITA because of the different size fittings, but worth not getting stranded because of something I already know is a ticking time bomb.

Just replaced all the lines on my 97 last weekend. The old ones came out in pieces due to rust. I ordered all stainless from EGR. It was a good kit, all lines pre-bent.

Make your own, 25 FT polymer coated 3/16" line is $35 and should last another 10+ years ?
