The fuel tank front strap broke!
This could have been a disaster. .
The strap broke and was rubbing on the driveshaft.
The tank was only held on by the strap in the back.
The tank was hanging down about 8 in.
Good thing I have 4x4 with 33in. tires.
The dealer (Cerritos Dodge ) charged me 40 bucks for new front and rear straps.
Another dealer wanted about 10 bucks more for the same parts.
I had no idea the dealers charged what ever they want for parts.
No wonder they get called stealers. . 25% mark up.
