Open your hood, And look up behind where the grill bolts to the hood, Both of our trucks have broken grill mounting stud boss's.

I found a fix instead of buying a $400 sport grill and $200 chrome grill for our trucks.:mad:

Walmart sells some epoxy called "Plastic welder" in the house paint section.

I used the dremel tool to feather down and rough up the area around the stud boss's and applied liberal amounts of this stuff,(one package per vehicle) and so far so good.

On a side note, I applied so much of this stuff, that I had to use the dremel tool to feather the excess epoxy down so the OEM Dodge speed nuts would fit.

Doug.

Mine has a break where the grille attaches to the black frame (stud boss ?) by the hood latch. I've tried fixing it, but no go. I'll have to order a new grille or live with it.

JB Weld a washer in place of the plastic hole and have a fix that'll last. And JB Weld comes in little tubes so you can mix up only an amount you need and save the rest for next time.

Good for dozens of things - been around for decades.
