I changed my oil this weekend and found coolant seeping out from under numerous head bolts also running down the front of the motor onto the compressor. Is this something others have seen?:--)

Personally I have noticed no coolant loss and no leakage from any head bolts or plugs. There have been a couple people, however, who found loose plugs on the exhaust-side of the engine that had to be tightened to stop small leaks.

If you're leaking so much that it's running down the front of the engine, you better get that sucker in for service!! And maybe consider sending out for an oil analysis to see whether it's leaking on both sides of the head gasket (inside and outside).

Check your block heater. It's just below the oil filter. Mine and several others were just finger tight. At first it was difficult to tell where all the coolant was coming from. Definately worth a check. :)

I had a small leak that appeared around the t-stat housing. The leak was so small that it would not make it to the ground, but did spread down the front of the engine and along the valve cover. At first dealer thought it was the temp sender, but after replacing that, it still leaked. After pressure testing the system, they found a bad hose. The hose had a large bubble right under the clamp and was leaking from there.

BTW she just rolled over 12,000 and that is only time she's been back to the dealer. The only other probem I have is keeping the grin off my face when I drive it. :D

I don't think that is going to go away!!

I had a faulty grommet around the draft tube that makes it look like the valve cover is leaking. Funny thing, Dodge doesn't stock just the grommet so they are replacing the entire draft tube assy.
