If you have Use anything other than the Stock studs I would Check them,This is My personal Vehicle and the second time I have seen this. These Two studs were not industrial injection studs ,They were TOP Quality longer One"s. the two in the Back are Stock studs.
It's blury to me too, but it looks like it's where the exhaust manifold meets the turbo and the bolts are gone. Small exhaust leek and crappy boost maybe? That's sucks, or should I say blow's
The Nut on the rear also was gone, and I Know I Tighten them when it was installed,I had to Drill out the Hole with the Double Nut, The stud strip it. I would not want anyone to have to go through this.
just my . 02 cents, i went to the cummins dealer and got studs for the m-11 engine about a year ago and have not had any problems since, they are about . 25 inch longer, same as stock threads
Yep, I would have and would also recommend a upgrade Exhaust, although I have been waiting for the Banks VGT(looks like Mid summer MAYBE). Also Both Trucks had a Exhaust Brake and a Bigger Turbo.
