Just bought a 94 chevy 3/4 ton extended cab 6. 5L turbo diesel with the auto 4L80 transmission. The motor needs a lot of work so I got the truck for a heck of a deal. Thinking rather than putting money in the 6. 5 to still have a 6. 5 when I am done, why not put a cummins in it. Has anyone done this swap and what does it involve. Thought about maybe using the 4L80 transmission and just manual valve bodying it. What do you guys think?
