Provided the DF engines are built to the same specs and standards as an Indiana engine there won't be a problem with the engine.



The politics on the other hand are a different story... ...

I didn't see anything in there that indicated the Chinese engines would appear here. Most likely they are for the Chinese market.

Do the engines say where they are made on the tag? My truck was made in Michigan, but not sure where the engine was made.



I agree with those who try not to buy from Red China, but it is mighty hard to do. I think everything from there should say made in "Red China" or "Communist China". TV even calls their leader a president. I thought he was the premier or some other communist figure. Anyway, I think any company should use caution when dealing with them as it can all come to an end if we are at war with them someday.



As far as Cummins supporting anti-gun causes, I recall seeing that somewhere but they are not on NRA's list of anti-gun organizations and individuals.
