Hey everybody, I'm looking for chrome moldings for Dually's... have seen both thin and thick, can't decide which I like better, so any pic's might help too... thanks in advance... Michael

I have looked at Genos for my 2500. Are there any issues with dirt getting behind and rubbing the paint off - causing rust - which I am trying to avoid.

The several brands I have found don't make one for the dually, much to my displeasure. I'd sure like to find the ones that come down beyond the horizontal 'crease' but haven't. If you find some, let us know...

I got my Full fender trim for my 03 Dually from JC Whitney. They are Stainless Steel made by Putco. They go all the way down, well below the crease. Photos on their web site and on the Putco web site.

I got the mine from Geno's Garage, and they fit very tight . Had from Stainlees Steel and were very easy to install, 4 small screews each. I had them on for several years, they aged great, just the rubber liner that seperates the truck finish from the edge of the stainless getts old from the sun and cracks.

I just got my truck refinished, and will not re-install the trim pieces. They do scratch the paint behind them and also trap water and dirt. I think they would be fine for an older truck with older paint, or to hide mishaps with some newer trucks. But I would not recomend for anyone to install them on a new or newer truck, to me there is just no reason to miss-up perfectly good paint. I guess if you don't plan on keeping your truck, and like the look, then who cares? go ahead with them.

Truck just out of the body shop. SS trim piece's will not go back on, but later Nameplates and graphics will.
