Chrome front air deflector

Anyone know whether this thing keeps enough bugs off to make having it worthwhile?



I have ordered it on my new rig with mixed emotions,... I really prefer the clean look of the hood without the deflector.

I have one on my 06. I think it does help. I took a road trip from IA to AZ and back (March 07) and didn't get too many bugs on the windshield.



The grill was a different story. However, driving through a few Iowa rain storms tooks care of that.
