You can do what I plan on doing and that is taking them down and getting them powder coated "almost chrome". It looks really good and for powder coating my 6 covers and intake elbow it is only going to cost me around a $100. 00 or less.

Thanks

Why Not (Chris)

Scheid Diesel used to have them advertised on their website. Further... check out top lid/cover sold by Geno's. They are much better looking than the OEM Dodge lid.

i plan on getting the billet cover from genos i think it loookS cool but i also want the invidual chrome covers to go under neath it

Speaking of the top cover, has anyone else had the problem of the screw that holds it on, literally eating its way through the sheet metal cover. Mine kept coming loose, so I tightened it. Then it rattled its way through and the cover was loose but the nut was still tight.

yea i got that problem too... i might try a black rubber washer ontop the cover, under the screw head. it wouldnt be that visable and would dampen the vibration, so it wouldn be metal to metal.
