does anyone know of any ways to remove chrome from metal??? the chrome on my stacks started to peel a little and I want to take it all off and paint them black.
I've heard of guys sandblasting them and then painting them. That's the cheapest and easiest way I can think of. I would use a black header paint on them, although I've used the bbq paint on them.
Somewhere down where you are at there is a business that does chrome. Just take it to them and they can take chrome off as well as put it on. Thats what my buddy did on some wheels of his that he wanted powder coated. Hope this helps.
