Fine print? This might be a good thing if you could get a CTD 1/2 ton truck, instead of a Liberty. Or something similiar to a TDI powered Tourag maybe a Durango. It was June 2 right, of 08"

so I'vr brrn paying close attention to the TV adds and from what I hear it is 2. 99 for three years up to 12k miles each year. A small incentive but 12k miles is not much at all. I;ve put 10k on my truck the last 6 months and my cruiser bicycle gets used everyday while the truck sits in the driveway. If some one was really wanting a new truck/car this could be an excusse.

anyone else getting kinda nervous that Chrysler might be circling the drain?

first they offer lifetime powertrain warranties on a number of models, and now this?

Unfortunately for Chysler I think there is going to be a huge glut of these trucks and many other vehicles used and new on the market in the not too distant future. With some patience I think the outrageous prices being asked for these vehicles will do the same thing the housing market is doing. Same principle applies... ... ..... why pay $40,000 to $60,000 for a $30,000 to $35,000 truck (IF its worth that much) that burns fuel that costs nearly a dollar per gallon more than gasoline powered vehicles that are now getting almost as efficient fuel economy? I can see the exception of a definite work or commercial use need or folks who can afford it and just flat out want a diesel but I think the writing is on the wall.

Sales

Amazing at it may seem,a local Dodge dealer here sold 23 CTD's last month prior to this offering. The latest offer has produced a marked increase in sales of Dodge's fuel efficient vehicles according to an employee who works there. Hope this works as Dodge needs to unload a lot of inventory.
