Chrysler turbo 2.5L any value?

Is there any value on the above engine as a core? I have an '89 Plymouth mini van with this engine. I am going to scrap the van and was wondering if the engine was worth pulling out first. At $0. 15 a pound, it is worth about $45. 00 if I leave it in the car. :-laf Even if there is no real value to the engine, I will probably at least pull the little turbo.



The cute little turbo would be awesome on my Perkins diesel powered Bobcat. Would it fit a turbo mount manifold if I found one?

Those old Chrysler 4-cyl turbo engines can kick out some pretty serious power. At least enough to scare a decent small block. If you were closer to me and I had a project that could use that engine I'd come take it off your hands.

the 2. 5 is a optional heavy duty engine in the lebaron coupe. it will outlast the smaller engine 5 to 1...
save it or sell it... as the engine is worth getting a second lease...
