Cig lighter don`t work & 1/2 heat coltrol lights !

Had a new sterio put in now 1/2 my lights on heat control & both my cig. lighters don`t work it Has power to the lighters ! is there a special lighter i must replace them with.

Something could be shorted or somewhat disconnected inside the dash. Your signature indicates a factory Infinity stereo and a 2006 truck. Did you connect to the factory amp? Did you get the computer adapter for aftermarket stereo to factory Dodge computer communication? Also, what aftermarket stereo? I installed a somewhat basic Alpine with small indash Alpine amp and aftermarket computer adapter. No problems. I did not have the factory Infinity.

2 separate problems.... the heater control lights are fragile.. and went away on each of my trucks very early in their life and as I remember are only available as an assembly... but I've not tried rockauto.com.. they have all kinds of stuff for about 1/4 - 1/3 of what the dealer wants... power window switches... master power window switches.. .etc..

The 12 VDC power plugs are powered from fuses... on my truck one is hot all the time.. .down by the shifter/counsel the other one on the dash is switchable... you'll find the fuses in the fuse panel under the hood...

I can only assume that they both might have been pulled loose when the dash was out for the stereo... and they didn't get them pushed back on when they put it back together..
