Today we had the Cincy area TDR anual Christmas meeting/get together. It was a beautiful day, we realy got lucky, the snow we were suppose to get, missed us. The meeting was nice, and we had one new fellow and his girl friend show up! hey new people! But the turn-out was very disappionting, only a hand full of people and three (can you believe it) trucks. Maybe it just the time of the year? Maybe people have more important things to do? What ever. I like the meetings, I like meeting new people, I like looking at everyones truck (not 2-3 mini-vans they suck), I like talking about trucks, and all the new news that is happening, I like helping people with there problems on there trucks. Am I the only one out here that feels like this???? I don't want to go to a meeting and have people drive up in a damn mini-van, if I wanted to see that, I'd go visit a day care. This is pathetic. I live in a very populated area, surrounded by three states. And I see Dodge Rams with a Big old noisy Cummins in them all the time, And we can't get more then a hand full of people to show-up. What does it take?? Maybe organize a new group, with people that like to work on there trucks, like I do. I am open for suggestion, this area is big enough to support a major TDR group, and there isn't any reason why we don't have one. If there is someone out there that has a shop and would like to allow a group to meet there let me know. If you guys in the area would like to try and get a group together, post back, PM me, start a fire and send a smoke signal, do something.
