I've installed a great pair of CIPA mirrors I got from Geno's. Does anyone know of a way to adjust the position of the mirror arm swivel detent (or "stop") that holds the mirror in an open position?

Alternately, is there a way to adjust the mirror so it won't pivot so easily?

The problem I am having is that when the right hand mirror is in it's natural "stop," I can't adjust the mirror glass to see the edge of the truck. It's worse for my wife.

Thx. Matt

Matt,I have the Lucerix mirrors also and I can adjust the right side to see truck side, topper near the top edge, or the road where the tire is so I would say your mirror isn't working right. I don't think you can change the detent position.

I have the CIPA's and I can adjust my right mirror just enough to see the edge of the truck. I'm 5' 10" tall and if I had the seat any further forward my mirror would not move far enough either. I know exactly what you are talking about. As far as I know there is no way to change the detent. I'm happy with the mirrors and they are great when extended for towing.

Are these the 10" x 10" mirrors in Geno's catalog? And the one's pictured on the Power Edge truck in the TDR magazine? If so, is there any vibration in the mirrors and is the passenger side mirror a "real" mirror or an "objects are closer than they appear" ?

Thanks, Dan
