Just ordered a remote oil filter mount from City Diesel.
Ordered on a Wednesday and it arrived on that following Friday (Alabama to Virginia).
Great unit, stoutly built and easy to install.
Unfortuntely, one of the 1500 psi lines had a leak. It was sort of a weeping around the top of the crimp in the collar on the output (the hose, not the adapter) from the oil filter mount adapter.
As I understand it, it is rare indeed to have one of these monster lines leak at all!
I called City Diesel that next Tuesday and talked to Jackie. He said he would take care of it. Apparently he meant business because a replacement part arrived that following Thursday morning!!! By the way, no charge to me... he just asked that I send the old one back when I could. Any other business would have put me on hold for a couple of weeks... but they took really good care of this customer!
Now here is a company that will play ball with the customer. They took my word for it that I had installed the part correctly and perhaps actually knew what I was talking about when I said the thing leaked. They sent out a replacement part IMMEDIATELY and at NO CHARGE to fix the problem. I was impressed to say the least.
I had ordered a Scotty II air filter some months ago and received the same prompt shipment and service.
Guess who will be getting my business in the future when I need to order something else?
By the way, the lady who answers the phone at City Diesel is really nice. She sounds like your favorite waitress at the diner who calls you "sweetie" and "honey" and takes real good care of you.
You know, ya' just can't put a price on service such as this... but I sure do value it!
Standard Disclaimer: Not affiliated with City Diesel, just a happy customer.
Diesel On!
