my wife's 98 Caravan has this problem- We just don't use that seat... . Would be nice to get it taken care of though.

Question:



I have a 98 model year that was built in 97. 97's are listed on the "unsafe belts" site. 98's are not.

Am I affected?

Just have to make sure my wife is belted in.....

Kerry, thank you for posting this,I was unaware of this problem. I just checked the site,and found my 2000 Ram is OK,but my wifes 99 300M is on the list, and my 3 kids are in that car quite a bit. I'm calling my dealer today,going to get the 4th gen latches ,thanks again Kerry. John

If you look in the write up I posted, there is a link, I think close to the end, that takes you to pictures of the various belts so you can compare those to what you have to see if you are affected.
