Class V Hitch

Looking to install the Titan 45 series Class V reciever. Has anyone installed a class V on a O3 3500 long bed. Is it a direct bolt? Any other pit falls to watch out for, heavy boat so 5th wheel hitch not an option.

Another option is a sturdy replacement bumper. I went with a wrap-around on my dually, but I suspect the receiver rating would be the same on the less expensive single rear wheel bumper. I recall it's 15,000 lbs trailer weight and 5,000 lbs tongue weight, subject to the truck's limits. Check out www.southwestfabricators.com if you're interested.

Nice looking headache racks. Would like to see a chrome/ ss Texas square bumper for our trucks w/ a bunch of 2" round lights, simular to the ones on the big trucks.

I have installed one on a Chebby 3/4 ton short bed with service body. It was a bolt-on. The hitch (not the truck) has been fully satisfactory. The only pitfall we have found is keeping track of the sleeve used when hauling a trailer with a 2 by 2 shank hitch.
