Here you go...

I've cut the original plug and soldered longer wires to it.

I think it shouldn't be to hard for you in the States to find those connectors. Here... well that's another story.

To plug the hole in the intake I used the old IAT... .

Looks like I'm getting old... can't remember how to post a pic here... . :{

Heeeeeelp:eek:

Heyyy Marco...

Out of curiosity... what kind of amateur installed that IAT in the intake???? (Sorry... I couldn't resist to pick on your. . LMAO)

Thanks for the pic. . that helps a bunch. So did you just put a plug in the old location?

tragicwagon, not sure what you want to ask...

If you mean if I have found a new location for the IAT, then yes.

If you mean if I have ever moved it back to it's stock location, then no.

tragicwagon, hey sorry, you were asking about the M A P!!!

DUH! Should have noticed...

No, I have not relocated the MAP sensor. I've had to change the sensor cuz' the old one was shot. Then it was really too cold to work on the truck... :(

Yep the heather would cycle during a warm startup, but only when it's really cold. I think that's due to the fact that the intake air horn cools quicker than the rest of the engine. So the ECM thinks it has to cycle the heather. Dunno if that's bad ( don't think so), what I know for sure is that I get less smoke that way.
