Try one of those Oxygenated Powdered cleansers with hot water. The fabric on your headliner is very thin and held in place with adhesive to a rigid composite backing. If you use a cleaner that is too strong two things will happen:
1. you will remove the stains - good.
2. the adhesive holding headliner fabric to the composite will weaken and droops will develope - bad.
Scrubbing too hard will stretch the fabric as well. "Patting" is the best solution. I recommed a hair dryer to expidite the dry time, not too hot. Watch out if you use a shop vac - might suck the headliner right off when wet.
I run a automotive detail business and deal with "baby barf" and other projectiles hitting the headliner.
