Yeah, K&N recommends using either the K&N cleaner OR Formula 409. It will take overnight to dry, though. So plan on not using your truck unless you saved your original filter. You cannot use heat, nor compressed air to speed the process. Just air dry it. Then oil it and spray it pleat by pleat and once done, let wick for 15 minutes. Go back and spray any white or faded spots again. Do not over oil!
