You should be able to use the same stuff that is available at any auto parts store for removing road tar from your paint. Wet a rag, rub the spot and the tar dissolves fairly quickly. Just make sure you wash your car with soap afterward to get all traces of the fluid off you car. I've also heard you can use gasoline or kerosene.
Soak a paper towel with goo-gone or lighter fluid and place it over the area (not dripping). Let it sit for ten minutes to saturate the area. This will give you time to do the other spots. You can use masking tape to hold towel on vertical surfaces. Wipes right off.
I have tried everything, the only thing that takes it off quickly is this stuff, I got from a local detail shop, here is one of the many pine trees around my driveway, they are all over 100' and constantly drip pine sap on my truck.
You will think I am crazy but this works great for sap or especially bugs. Wipe them off with a bounce fabric softener sheet and a little water and also the next time the bugs come right off. copterdoc
