Is there a way to clear ABS fault codes (#65-main relay open) without a scan tool? Unfortunately :{ I have the optional 4 wheel ABS, which is much harder to diagnose and get parts for. On the standard RWAL system I've seen posted that you ground a particular plug terminal. I can't find out if that's true for the 4 wheel system. ideas?

I have heard you need the full blown Chrysler computer $1000's or a separate scan tool that is apparently costly as well. The normal scan tool I have seen so far will not do ABS unfortunately my old 1979 Jeep has abs on all time may have to put black electrical tape over it!!!

what about the abs scan tools you can find on eBay and such? Is there any validity to there claims or functionality? I've got the abs and brake light illuminated on the 99', was wondering if they work. I'm dreading taking it to the dealer and having to pay $115 bucks to have them tell me it's the controller or something. The local dealer we have here is not very trustworthy from my past experiences. I believe actron makes the one i'm thinking of, around the same price as diagnostic. Any ideas with that option?
