Just a heads up for anyone thinking about installing Recon clear cab lights and third brake light. All though they look great installed they leak like crazy. The first time washing my truck after installation the headliner was soaked  My friend found out his new LED third brake light leaked the first rain fall. #@$%! Good looking lights... Terrible seal design.

Update. . I just spoke to Recon and they said there is currently have a new design which they are sending out FedEx today. So far great customer service and eager to stand behind their product.

Had mine for about a year, no leaks. Did you tighten it enough?

Also, I put a little silicon on the screws.

Let us know what the new design is.

My originals leaked, and I siliconed the heck out of them, still leaked. Then I noticed there was no water marks beyond the seal, so it had to be coming from the screws, which are on the outside of the seal. Little dab of silicone on the screws, and no more leaks.

I've had mine on for about 4 months. No leaks. But the two outside lights aren't as bright as the other 3. One finally burned out. Called them and they are sending two replacement bulbs.

Clear Cab lights

I installed my clear cablights on my 2500 (had to wire up) I sealed both sides of gasket and changed the screws to stainless and siliconed them also no leaking at all. I did have a problem with the first light closest to the power source melting the socket. I called Todd at recon he sent out 2 more sockets. I replaced it and it melted right away. The voltes read 12!So i changed to a 3 watt bulb. And have no problems. Also was able to reuse the seal each time without any leaking. JUST BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS... Oo.
