The GM Corporate 14 bolt axle shown at the beginning of this thread has a fill plug located on the axle housing not the cover. I imagine the Dana plugs would be in the cover as usual.

One thing that came to mind is you have to be careful with the RTV/gasket sealer. Use too much and it will look like crap.
