Clear Tail Light Lens? LED?

I have an 05 2500 Black Ram with the sport option. I am thinking about getting some clear tail lights. I have noticed that most of the vehicles I have seen that have clear tail light lens have chrome on the inside instead of the color of the body.



Anyone have these clear lens on their trucks and what is the best brand to get? I want quality stuff and don't mind paying if it is good.



I would also like to have LED lighting in the rear lights. Most high end cars have this and I love the instant on and off as well as the attention getting brightness of them. I have noticed that Cadillac has a LED array which really seems to be the best rather than a single bulb that is hardly noticable.



Anyone have this? Again, I am interested in quality and don't mind paying as long as it is a good product.

I can't say about the clear lights because I have a service body on my 05, but I did install led lights, my turn signals didn't work and the bulb out light came on on the dash. For me the fix was easy I added a small bulb inside the box hooked to each tail light and they work great.



I would guess that someone somewhere makes some kind of load equalizer that will trick the light out sensor and the flasher. I have seen these for motorcycles.

the black ones. they are paintable as well...

some LEDones. . but not in black... .

there are some lights there with black or fake carbon fiber look. i plan on getting some as well. as for LED lighting... im not sure. you could use conversion bulbs. . but dunno how well they work
