Going to install a set of OEM cab lights on Son's '04. 5 2500. Have read where there is an electrical connector in the Dri side pillar for making the connection. I've searched the forum and found comments that it's a 6 prong female connector but the OEM kit has a single, no connector green wire and the kit instructions say to run it to the under hood fuse box and splice it into LH Parklamp feed.

Anyone know where best to make the elec connection - Pillar connector(if it exists) or fuse box(per the instructions but a little more involved)?

I had mine done at the dealer after I bought it. They tied into the wiring harness under the hood under a fuse box. I think I read somewhere that the connector you are looking for is on the passenger side A pillar. It does not seem correct to me because the hotwire that was run goes through the firewall above my feet. Try this link www.dodge.com/bodybuilder/. It may have some answers.
