after purchasing a set of amber cab lights from a local parts store then finding clear ones i changed to the clear. after the hard rain we had last week the had water in them. and were leaking on the back where the lense and the base come together :( . i found that out when i took them off and filled them with water and it all poured out the rear of the lense. :--) so i popped them off and resealed them. they popped off a lot easier than i thought. :) i resealed them with marine goop. they turned out perfect... well at least i thought. i woke up the next morning after raining and cold on sat. night to see if they stayed sealed up to find the lenses were all cracked around the screw holes... . :--) i just cant win. going to try and take the clear ones back and get another set, but i doubt they will take them back seeing how i resealed them. so back to the ambers, but still have the leds in them. at least they worked... not sure what im going to do now, im just tired of screwing with them. i spend more time on the roof then in the truck... and after seeing a friend at a local round up on sat night with the same water leaking issue. . he didnt know they were until i pointed it out. they fill the front of the lense up with water, but really dont see any leaking inside the cab, well atleast not yet, i could have been too early. im not really happy. keep u all posted. and post pics of before and after.

Well that sux Cepp!Do you have the foam rubber seals ans holes siliconed? Im going to have mine redone(the 1 that holds moisture beads) up at CVZ. He guarenteed it not to leak. Is that where you bought yours? As a matter of fact Im going to go get some stailness steel screws as well so they dont rust. Well good luck man, keep us posted on the outcome. Greg
