Clearance lights installation

I am interested in installing clearance lights on my 04. 5. Is there an existing factory or after market kit available? Has anyone performed the installation? Does the headliner have any surprises when pulling it down? Thanks in advance for any advice.

i got mine from jc whittney. when i ordered the clearence lights, i had to specify what year ram i had... (different light styles between the 2nd and 3rd gens. ) i think they costed something like 39 bucks.

i believe www.dodgeparts.com has them cheaper than $89. might want to check them out.

I second SRadke's advice above! I followed his advice via searching through his old posts which helped quite a bit. Took about 3 hours for the install this past summer since I measured everything about 100 times before drilling that first hole. The 3rd gen interiors are easy to dismantle and put together since everything just pops apart/together without deforming. The light kit was purchased from Dodgeparts.com and comes with a template for hole location.
