Clearance lights whistle

Went for a ride last saturday and I could hear a good whistle, sounded like it was coming from the clearance lights, they have ribs on top of the lights, anyone have any idea's??? I also have the factory front hood protection shield.

Have both the items you mentioned and haven't heard a thing a high pitch from the passenger side, but I'm informed thats the turbo.

I have the wind noise every now and then on my 05. It is not the turbo in my case. It really seems like it is the hood-shield on this truck.

Was there not a tsb back to the 03's for the same noise?

The noise is coming from the factory bug shield. There is a TSB on it. Take it to the dealer.

Do you have the TSB # on the deflector?

It's not the turbo, this is my second diesel truck, do you know what the fix is on the deflector???

As stated before their is a TSB call the dealer, they are putting some foam or something of that sort .

I also have a whistle. Mine sounds like it is coming from the base of the windshield. I will try removing my bug deflector and see if that helps.
