2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission clearance lights

I am really wanting clearance (cab) lights on my 2002 ram 2500, I have been searching high and low for the ones for my truck in amber, i have found smoked, clear, and ultra white. Dodge only wants to sell me the set for the new body style, when i specifically told them i need the one for the old body style, i told them it was an 02 2500 with the old body styling. They told me the lights would fit from 02 - 06, I dunno, does anyone have the numbers for the kit for my truck. or a set for sale.

There's alot of confusion regarding the part numbers for the cab light kits. I installed the Mopar Cab Light set P/N 82205120. It's still a valid part number at DC as I stopped by Dwayne Lane to verify that this kit was for the 2nd gen 98. 5-02 RAM. Theres another kit for I believe 02-05 which contains the flatter cab lights. I personally prefer these! The 02-05 cab lights Dwayne Lane in Everett sells in a kit for I believe $88. They had a set in the parts display case at the parts counter. The kit I installed came with a template that worked pretty friggin well. Yep, that first hole to drill was TOUGH! Of course, after the first hole was drilled I had (14) more to drill so I jumped in with both feet. Not too tough. I did it alone, took my time & spent about (3) hours start to finish.

well i used that part number and ordered a set, I was kinda suprised when i saw they were the teardrop lights... . I need the ovals, i think they started puttin them on in 99. I know several guys with em, but all of em like em...

I bought mine from Cabellas of all places for 40 dollars. They have both old and new style. I liked the new style better. The kit is not plug and play - I had to string a wire from the left to the right and use those Skotchlocks to connect them, which inside the truck I think is just fine (no moisture, etc. ).

I found mine on ebay from a dealer for aroune $68 bucks. They are the newer style ones. Whole job took me about 3 1/2 hrs. start to finish. Here is some great info off another forum which I used. Helped out a ton.
