For everyone who doesnt know the entire story Im going to type it out in short form for everyone to read and hope you all can better understand and then proceed to explain myself for typing this up.
In the beginning of 2007 I became a partner with Jim Daly (Spicyjam)at Triple D Performance. This partnership consisted only of us sharing the same name and vendors for product. His business was his business and mine was mine only sharing those things mentioned along with shared experience to better fulfill the needs of current and future customers. That pretty much sums that up and anything else is our personal business and we split at the end of the year for personal reasons that a few of you already know about.
Now for Josh's (Dieseldood) truck we decided as a partnership to take our friends truck and rebuild it for him and not let him know what we were doing other than make it run after it sat for a good spell in pieces. The entire build process took place in my shop located on my property here in Iowa. This entire project, other than donated items from Amsoil products by Duluthdiesel and Icebox, was funded and put into place and materialized by myself and my good friend and employee Kenny Cornelison. Now Jim made several trips here to my place but never took part in ANY labor or finances of this project but made it appear so by taking over half the credit for the trucks progress from beast to beauty. Myself, Kenny, and several others can attest to these facts and wish for them to become public knowledge. At the time Jim expressed he wished to give Josh his truck back at the dyno event held at HiTech Motorsports and time was an issue with an engine out of Joshs truck needing a complete rebuild yet. I agreed to donate my low mileage rebuilt engine to Josh's truck project in order for this to happen on the agreement that Jim would take Josh's old engine and rebuild it for me to compensate me for doing all the work and him taking half the credit or more for something he never touched. Josh was given his truck back at the OCT 07 dyno meet at HiTech in the twin cities and I was very happy and proud to be a part of doing something wonderful for a very deserving man who has always been there to help anyone in time of need. Josh... you are a great friend and I have ZERO regrets doing the truck for you!
I am writing this because I have given Jim over a year, after splitting partnership, to produce a rebuilt engine to me for his share of the credit he took and for the wrongs he has done to me since. I have had my name drug through mud to MANY forum members, by Jim, and Ive had enough of being treated like crap. I have emailed and sent PM after PM to Jim asking the progress of my engine and NO reply or excuses. I now have my engine back in my pocession(thanks to a very dear friend) and its not rebuilt as I was promised... only in pieces as when it left here. One other thing I would like to mention is that a few people asked me if I received the money they sent as a donation to the project because they knew it happened here and honestly I cant tell any of you where those funds went to because I never got them. Please talk to the person you gave them too. For those of you, (I wont mention names but you know who you are), who dropped in and gave a hand, even if briefly, I want to again say thank you for the help!
Sincerely, Chris Snyder
