2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission click in steering wheel

Guy's, I have a small annoying click/pop when I turn the wheel, so I grabbed the steering shaft and you can move it and feel the same feeling under the hood. Should there be any play in this shaft this click is really getting to me Thank's in advance Don

A klunk or click?



Click/pop sounds like yet another Clockspring issue.





Clunk (Solid type) could be something like a universal in the steering shaft.

Mine has been doing this along time now You will come to like the click as I have ! Just another reason to buy dodge HUH.
