I must admit up front that I have not investigated this enough myself, so there may be nothing at all wrong. I started noticing recently a click noise when I let off the throttle rapidly. Sounds like a linkage clicking. Does not sound like anything is bad wrong and does not do it when I ease off the pedal, so I have not taken the time to look myself.

Any ideas as to what it may be? Appears to be coming from the injector area. Maybe under the black plasic cover just to the right of the oil fill port on the engine.

Again, I apologize for not looking into this more myself before posting. But some of you all are so good with this stuff it has almost made me lazy!

Thanks in advance.

David

I dont know about clicking noise, but I hear a thump coming from the pass. side from turbo area if I let off fast on mine.

That's exactly what I was thinking Doug.

In the description it sounds like you are describing the location of Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) as you look at the engine from the front of the rig. Maybe there is a micro-switch in there also.
