sorry, i posted this in the 24 valve engine/trans forum without thinking, shouldve been here. Anyways, while changing my pads today, which really didnt need to be changed too bad, I thought it would solve the problem; I spun the drivers side rotor around, and there seemed to be play in it. I could kind of pull it out of the shaft a little bit, whereas the passenger side is solid. Also, when I turn it, it makes a clicking noise like there is a piece of metal inside the axle shaft being thrown all around. I can hear this sometimes when I'm driving. What is this? thanks.

yeah, I had to replace the whole hub assembly. The whole thing blew up on me about 5 miles from my house and had to get it towed back, scared the crap out of me. Thank goodness a buddy of mine is a mechanic, we just got it working a little bit ago. Brakes better than ever now, wish I dove into it when I was changing the pads, oh well.
