Clicking Noise - HELP!

Hey folks,



I have a clicking noise coming from somewhere in the front wheels and I need your help determining what it is and how to fix it. It sounds like I have a rock in the tires, but I checked that and removed all of them and it still clicks. It seems to be getting louder as each mile passes. It's driving me nuts!!



Also, I was reading the latest edition of the TDR magazine and there was an article in there about Copper Top Brake Pads. Since it's about time for new brakes I was wondering if anyone has used these brake pads. Sounds good and thinking about giving them a try.

Did you check bearing play? Could be a bearing problem.

If it's a 4x4 it's usually the front u joints.

I jacked up the front end yesterday and there was no play in the bearings that I could detect and it's not a 4X4. Beats me what the heck it is. I guess I'll have to take it in to the dealer and I sure hate to do that. A dealer is the last resort.
