I'm hoping no one else has had this problem... but if anyone has then maybe I can get some help! I took my truck in a couple days ago for the clockspring recall and because my batteries kept going dead over night. The dealer said my battery problem is my brake controller(it's a new Prodigy) that has been in the truck since November. The battery problem only started about two weeks ago. But on to the problem, when I left the dealership, my steering wheel was off to the right. When I went in it was straight... I asked and they said that the steering wheel only goes on one way but they would take a look. Then the guy adjusted the rod that goes to the pitman arm to get the wheel straight. I asked if it would affect alignment and they said no... Well, now i have a truck that pulls to the right, and they wheel is still not straight... Any help?

Other than that the truck is great! Sorry for the long post!

I watched the stealership do my clock spring and yes the wheel only goes on one way. anyway thats the way I remember it , there are 4 screws that come in from the back side at the base of the wheel. I suppose one could be 180 degreese out but that would be it:confused: ... ..... Kevin

I would guess they adjusted the tie rod instead of the drag link. Get it aligned because it's wearing your tires now.

And I wouldn't take it back to that dealership, their answer to your battery problem is reason enough even before they screwed up your alingment.
