Clockspring Recall

I purchased my 2001. 5 3500 4x4 6-spd on 6/29. Since then I know of two other buyers who rcvd. recall notices for clockspring problem (I understand that this has to do w/ airbag activation). Since I did not get the same notice, I called my dealer about it. He claims that it is not unusual that everyone gets it because for a normal recall only obout 15 to 20% of the current "run" is affected. Sounds plausible but would wecome reader comments.
