Clockspring

Well I had my clockspring replaced once and it looks like it will need to be done again. I was all loaded (trailer) and I pulled out and snap! then the air bag light and bells go on and nothing in the wheel works,cruise,radio,etc...

I had the same experience. My original was doing fine, had it replaced under the recall and the replacement lasted all of 5 days. They replaced it again and it has been fine so far.

Had mine replaced yesterday, the original lasted 19. 8K miles. I hope my new one lasts a little longer than Saint's first replacement.

I wonder, if you are out of warranty, will DC pay for a SECOND clockspring replacement?

Mine went at about 50K. Since it was a recall item warranty wasn't an issue.
