Does the clutch fan come on when you drive it for the first time when cold,or sometimes you don`t hear the roar of it? Mine used to do it and i noticed it does not do it anymore/ Need some help

Watching your A/C pressures with a set of gauges

Is a way of testing your fan clutch, because 134 freon pressure reacts drastically with air flow across the condensor or the lack of it. Get your truck good and hot with the A/C on hook the gauges up and watch the pressures at a high idle about 1500rpm. If the fan clutch keeps the pressure down below 250psi. If it rises over 300psi it is having problems. Assuming everything is well with the A/C system.

You should hear it. Is there dirt on the front of the fan clutch? If there is dirt/oil/dust on the part in the center that looks like a flat coil spring, it will have negative effect on it.
