Purchased a used 2004 3500 with 42k and has an intermitant clunk in the front end when starting out in full left or right turn. Dealer changed the top ball joints once to no avail and changed the bottom right control arm the next time and still hasn't taken care of the problem. has anyone had a similiar situation with a solution?

I had the same problem. I had taken it to the dealer and after them pretty much replacing the whole front end, the noise was still there. Took it to another dealer, now my 3yr/36 is up, they said that it was my steering gear box that was causing the clonk and it was going to cost me. I called DC, and discussed that this was a on going issue and that it was documented, and they agreed to cover the cost. Hope this sends you in the right direction,

My 03 had a similar clunk. At speed if I turned into a driveway, trying to beat the oncoming traffic, it would clunk. I jacked the front end up and noticed that the right wheel would move back and forth. Ordered a hub bearing setup and replaced it. Problem solved.
