On a stock clutch is there any knid of adjustment for the pedal travel.
On my pedal you only have to just start to push it in and the clutch will start to disingage. I was wordening if there was a way to adjust it so it would'nt release so high up and if so how to doit ????
the truck only has 11000 miles on it now.
I did smoke the cluch one time but it seems to be working fine right now. I just think the pedal is too high up.

I don't think there is any adjustment for the clutch. That's the problem with these hydraulic jobs.

My clutch does the same thing I just have to get in the habbit of taking my foot off the pedal all the way. It works ok just hard to get use to.

Mine was the same way. I put 80k on the clutch, and abused the hell out of it. It is both my daily commuter and farm truck (pulling heavy loads and dealing with 8" deep ruts right now on the farm). I put a new clutch in it this weekend and that changed the release point on the pedal.

You can adjust the hydraulics, but not with stock parts. You have to make a new pushrod down on the slave cylinder, thread it with a die, add some jamnuts, and there you go--adjustable. :D

Evan don't you mean at the master cylinder? All the slave does is move as far as the master tells it to.
