Hey Everybody, I pulled my car hauler(empty) today about 150 miles. When I got home I unhooked and noticed the clutch wasn't engaging until the pedal was almost all the way out. It still shifts fine and doesn't slip. The pedal feels the same as always and full of fluid. Any ideas. Thanks Clay

I agree with Jeff K, the other thing to check is the pedal linkage and the bushing where the pedal attaches under the dash. But more than likely, your clutch is worn out, pretty soon it's not going to engage at all.

I've heard that when the disc wears that the fluid makes up for the wear so it still engages at the same spot. It this true. I really don't want to tear the almighty NV5600 off. Thanks Clay

My Dads truck had the same problem and when we took it apart the clutch was pretty worn. We put a new clutch in and it fixed the problem, Clutch engagement moved down.

The factory service manual says exactly that.
