I see where the clutch fluid fill area is just in front of the Drivers side Dash. It says something about using Dot 3 fluid??? I checked it and it was full. I have never heard of anyone servicing it or fluishing it out?? Would this be recommended?? I have that little bit of noise when the clutch is in Neutral. Goes away when clutch is pushed in. . Switching to AMSOIL ATF4 in the trans, just didn't know if flushing this system would also be advised? Thanks!! Oo.

I dont think you can ever service or bleed it. I believe you have to replace it as a complete assembly should it ever fail. The new part probably comes with the master, slave, hose attached and pre bled. At least most of the industry has gone to this design, DC probably has too.

We have in the past replaced ours... If you pull the slave cylinder and compress it with your hand you can push back to the master most of the fluid... . we pull it out with a turkey baster... . and put fresh fluid back in. We might do this a time or two... .

Hope this helps. .

Thanks for the replies... I guess I will just let it go for now. . only has 5000. Was just curious since I had never heard word on how to do it!!
