Good source for 12v?

What is the largest clutch that can be used behind a 4bt with a sae#3 flywheel housing?

I have a spicer 3052 transmission that bolts to the #3 housing.

The input shaft is 11/2"X10 SPLINE.

I picked up a 13" disk & pressure plate on ebay for 35 bucks.

I don't have a flywheel yet.

Please help with flywheel information.

RSchumaker,

I am sure I can help you figure out what you need.

I do have a few questions though... I am not quite sure what you meant with this, "11/2"X10 SPLINE". Do you have a 2" 10 spline input shaft?

Does the transmission require a push type or a pull type throwout brg. ?

Most 13" clutch assy. do not carry a 2" spline. I however can build anything that is needed.

Do you need a double disc or a single disc? Mpst 2" splines come in a 14" or a 15" clutch.

The best thing to do is when you get the flywheel send me everything that you have and I will build it to fit.

Feel free to call me with any questions you might have it may be easier to do it over the phone then on the net.

Sorry!

I should have put it one and one half inch diameter,by 10 spline.

The ring gear diameter of the flywheel that came out of the

flywheel housing is 15. 9".

The mounting bolt patern of the pressure plate is 14 5/8".

That puts the edge pretty close to the ring gear.

Have You ever assembeled one that close?

The flywheel that came out was some sort of direct drive unit.

thanks.
