Smarty Help?

in the market for a new clutch and was going to go with the valair and sounds like a good choice, What did you pay for yours, and what is the exact model of it. Thanks DD

right now im running the ceramic/ceramic single. which is good for 600hp/1200tq and is holding great. but i will probably be upgrading to a dual disc next year as i am adding alot more power very soon. as it was not available as of yet and i needed a clutch badly. it will be available very soon i just couldn't wait anymore. but i will see exactly what this clutch will hold, before i make my decision to upgrade.

Also right now i am beta testing this clutch for him. because my truck is a daily driver and i like running as much power as i can all the time. with no regard for breaking parts.

i will soon have another clutch to compare this to. i will be taking numerous photos of both, and the installation for all to see. all of these are going to be on the g56 trans and the conversion.

well i was almost ashamed to say but i tried a 3rd gear launch this morning with about 100 miles on clutch (could'nt wait anymore). yep it slipped on me! so i drove around a little more down town driving and i noticed when i would take off from a light it was more aggresive feeling. this is the fun part. so i drove on up to a newly paved buisiness park just out of town and WOW O WOW. this thing will flat out hook now. no more slipping to say the least, i could'nt be any happier. hey NGM your clutch is ceramic with a 3400lb pressure plate and mine is feramic with a 3250lb pressure plate. how much power are you putting to it? i wonder how much of a difference there is between the two? i think torque is more of a clutch killer than hp.

just for the sake of being stupid i tried a third gear 4x4 launch  well it slipped bad, to say the least.
