had a problem yesterday

wouldn't go into gear clutch to the floor and squeel ( throw-out??)

let up a 1/2" or so it finally went tore it down today, and throw-out is acceptable but will be replaced.

come to discover the disc exploded

i belive i have a con 0 or ofe not sure Diesel Dynamics sold it to me for alot of $$$ want to say 600-800 2 years ago

just measured the disc (12. 25 give or take an 1/8") must be a con O

what happened was the spring blew out of the disc metal that keeps it in and all.

i'm headed to AZ Brake and Clutch in the am to see what they have or can do. i'd order a new one but i gotta be running by Mon.

SIDE NOTE:

this clutch and the stock (replaced at 280K had 50% left) clutch have never slipped with the mods in sig. minus the B-1,... oh and the comp had an edge on the stocker. the stocker when replaced had 3 broken springs in the disc.

MAYBE I'M UNDER CLUTCHED????

The diameter doesn't tell you whether it's a Con-O or the OFE. That is the stock diameter for the 4500. What I did is get the 6-speed 13" Con-OFE with matching flywheel. The way the springs are in the 13" disc is a lot better design that the smaller one. Upgrade the pilot bearing while you're at it, you'll be glad you did!! :D
