Is the master cyl or the slave cyl bad when you push the clutch in and it works but bleeds offin a few seconds?

Could be either one. Is it leaking somewhere? I believe Peter at South Bend Clutch sells those parts individually rather than having to buy a full system. He has that too though if you desire to go that route.

Replace em both, if one is kaput, the other is not far behind!! Not to mention bleeding it is a royal PITA, get the sealed system, you'll be glad you did. :D

phall, Good morning! I didn't know I had a fellow TDR member as a close neighbor.

What Tom said, replace as a unit. One will contaminate the other. They are about $200. 00 from Dodge.

mine just went out with 90k on it. the replacement unit from dodge is nice. it comes as 2 pieces with quick connects on them. the unit is pre-bled sp??. makes the install nice as the hardest part of the job is fishing the old unit out around all the junk in the firewall. not too bad of a job took about 1hr.
