clutch pedal

my pedal squeeks even time i push it in. i tried to spray a lube on the two pivot points with no luck. anybody fix this. is it maybe my hydrolic cylinder for the clutch. i think i have to remove the pins that it moves on and lube them. what you think

Mine also on a few occasions... warm days and lots of stop and go driving. Also feels a little "gritty" ocassionally. I'm at about 8. 5K miles.

On my 2001, I had same problem. I fixed it and made the clutch pedal feel much better than stock. Don't know if the setup is the same on 3rd gen, but should be similar I would think. Look before you leap.

I had the same problem with mine. Drove me crazy on a long trip out west. Dealer lubed it when I took it in for service and haven't had any problem with it since then. It's now been several months.
